June 2015 Battlecreek Proposal

 We had the privilege of going hiking with my cousins Rush and Cash and their significant others. Rush asked us to help him out with a surprise proposal to his girlfriend Aimee. Although he didn't propose at the falls, we were the pre proposal to the event that happened later that night.

Soon after, these guys moved into our basement. Keeping it all in the family.

June 2015 Sandy Beach

Even though it looks yucky and muddy, these kids did not have a care in the world. They absolutely loved every minute of playing in that murky Utah Lake and were very upset when we told them it was time to go home. Cousins make the best of friends.

June 2015 Addy's 7th Birthday

This little 7 year old is one happy girl today.

She was spoiled to death by her family and absolutely loved the cake that Grandma Johnson made for her.  As tradition, Grandma and Grandpa Luke took her out to lunch and shopping for her birthday as well. 

June 2015 Evening Trip to Kanosh

We have some family friends who live in Kanosh and they invited us out to have pizza in their new outdoor pizza oven. It was a gorgeous night with a beautiful sunset.

The favorite thing with the kids was that there were grasshoppers EVERYWHERE you stepped. They had fun catching them. The food was great, the company was great and it was fun to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa Luke. It's an hour and a half away from us so we just drove there and back in the same night. A lot of driving but it was a fun little trip.

June 2015 Hike to Battlecreek Falls

This was our very first hike to Battle Creek Falls and we absolutely loved it. This will be a regular hike for us from now on. It's a short and perfect hike for kids with a beautiful waterfall hidden gem.

The girls could play in the water and splash around till their hearts content.

June 2015 Marry Poppins

We went to the Scera Outdoor Theatre to watch Mary Poppins..

The girls always love going to these outdoor plays and it is always more fun when Grandma and Grandpa join us.
