Today was awesome. We woke up to some exciting news that we had a new little niece which I will post about later. Then, we started the day off with some fabulous heart pancakes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. (very important)
Then, we rushed off to school! We dropped Hailey off and she was VERY excited to deliver these gems:
The Cookie Jars were for her teachers and the candy hearts were for her classmates. (she picked them out)
After dropping her off, Addy and I went over to hang out at Summer's house till it was time to return to school and help out with the Valentine's Party at Hailey's school. Addy enjoyed it too, since some of Hailey's classmates and friends gave Addy Valentine's as well.
After running a few errands, we headed home and I started the prep for dinner. I decided this year to make a special dinner for V-Day. My mom always did and since my girls are old enough to be excited about it, I decided it was time to start some traditions of my own.
Before dinner, the girls and I had a plan. I found this great idea on Pinterest for having a marshmallow fight when daddy gets home so we decided today would be the perfect day. Nate came home to this message on the front door:
We had a feast complete with: Roast, mashed potatoes, asparagus, rolls, heart jell-o and chocolate covered strawberries. MMMMMmmm...
We gave the girls a few little gifts we had for them and then played their favorite game 'the name game' then called it a night. It was a great day.
Happy Valentine's Day!!

You are so stinkin' cute! We may have to do a marshmallow attack on Ben.
SO FUN! I'll bet the girls loved the marshmallow attack. I love how Nate keeps looking through the window in the video. Too funny. :)
