All growing up, my mom would make homemade donuts once a week. Usually it was for her seminary class on Fridays, but we all benefited. This is something that just reminds me of my childhood in so many ways. The smell of the hot oil and the dough frying as well as the sugar glaze. Seriously, these are so good and so easy. I told Addy about them and she really wanted to learn to make them so obviously I was quick to oblige.
Recipe:
Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits
Oil
milk
powder sugar (glazed)
cocoa powder (add to glaze for chocolate)
Punch holes in biscuits, fry in oil and make your glaze
(however you like it)
That's it!
