Softball and it's dangers.
I can't say enough about how much Nate loves this sport.
This team has been together at this point for 9 years. Some players have come and gone and new ones have joined but Nate and John have had a team going consistently in both Orem and Provo Rec leagues for 9 YEARS! I can't believe it's been that long. The great thing about watching these guys is because they have been playing together for so long, they really can read each other well and it's fun to watch them make amazing plays. I use to be a little bitter about how much softball Nate would play but it really has just become part of our lives. We live at the ball fields in the evenings between April and October. That's just the way it is... and it's great.
The only thing that is not so great is that EVERY YEAR Nate re-opens the same scar on his leg from sliding.. it's super painful and takes forever to heal. I guess you just have to live with the injuries to continue your passion.
