When you think of Easter, what comes to mind? Spring? Think again! It was FREEZING and SNOWING! Not a nice joke.
Nonetheless, we had a great weekend. Nate was able to be home on Saturday and we took the girls to a city Easter Egg hunt. Yes, they are bundled as if we were driving up in the mountains to play in SNOW, however, very appropriate because it was windy and COLD. They had a blast. The Egg Hunt lasted about 3 seconds. There were so many kids there, it was crazy.
That night, while the boys were at Priesthood Session of Conference, the girls and kiddos went to the mall to hang out with the rest of the female population of Provo and Orem. Good times. Later, we met the boys for dinner and ended up going home with some free desserts!
Sunday after the first session of conference, we went to Nate's parents house for some traditional 'waffles and ice cream'. A family favorite. We put the girls down for naps and watched the second session with the family. Hailey and Avery had so much fun playing together, as usual.
Once conference was over, we headed outside for an Easter Egg Hunt. Not just ANY Easter Egg Hunt. Grandpa and Grandma Johnson always fill the eggs with money. Mostly change, but SOME have BILLS in them. Jessie almost threw money away and the girls made out with tons of change, but the exciting moment for me was the $20 bill I found in an egg. I was pretty stoked. We topped off the night with an amazing Easter Dinner complete with Turkey and mashed potatos and gravy! Mmmmmm... Thanks for a great Easter Weekend, Scott and Val!

Too bad about all the snow and cold, it was beautiful and sunny here :P And is Ben wearing a shawl in those pix? LOL
You can come visit LA and get away from the cold!:) Looks like you had a fun Easter. The girls are so cute!
Yes, my husband does look like he is wearing a shawl...haha, it was actually a blanket tied around him, but I thought it was pretty amusing too. Easter weekend was so much fun and I am so glad we got to be here and spend it with the girls!
Cute cute cute pictures, Tiff. It was pouring rain here in Cali, too- so we did an indoor hunt for Ellie...still fun, but not quite what i think of when i think Easter or Spring or California for that matter :) I honestly can't believe how big your girls are. It's CRAZY! So adorable. Addy melts my heart (maybe because her and Ellie are so close in age?). Also, I want you to write details about your pregnancy! When are you due/how far along are you?? Hope you're feeling ok. I'm already sick of being pregnant....like, I think that being pregnant once is enough, then the stork should just come. seriously. Love you, girl! And miss you.
Great pictures. It was fun to have all the little girls together. It was a great Easter with conference to remind us of the reason for Easter.
