Last Friday, Nate took the day off work to attend an auction preview. He knew he'd be done by about noon and we made plans to meet him in Salt Lake at the Hogle Zoo. As usual with these kinds of events, the girls were ecstatic. We chose to forgo Addy's usual nap and have a little family time, which was MUCH needed. We've been so busy with plans, company, callings, etc that it was definitely time. Our girls absolutely love animals. They love to read books about animals. They love to watch shows about animals. We had heard that they were doing a 'Zoorassic Park' theme so the girls were especially excited about that since they love dinosaurs as well. Although, when taking a picture in front of the t-rex, it moved and roared and Hailey ran off faster than I've every seen her run... which is pretty fast, I might add. It was pretty funny.
It was so hot and muggy that day. By the time we had seen everything we wanted to see, we were DONE.

haha - my favorite is Nate's face on the carousel. Looks like you had fun - we're headed up there this Saturday... I imagine it will be hot and crowded but the boys will love it.
We love the ZOO! :) Super cute pictures. It looked like a hot day. And I loved Nate's picture on the carousel too. Classic.
