REALLY???????
So, after calling the Periodontist, we found that there is nothing that can be done and that the doctor isn't in till Tuesday. (which is when my scheduled appointment is anyways) I'm suppose to go in to get my stitches removed, but due to trying to remove them last week, I have swelled up a bit again and that hasn't gone away as of yet, so I don't know what they'll do. They said over the phone yesterday that they'll have to just redo that tooth. Yep, you heard me, MORE SURGERY.
I went to bed last night with a pit in my stomach and this morning woke up with a boulder in my stomach. This has been such a traumatic situation and i'm so ready to be done with it. With this additional surgery will come the same diet i've pretty much been on since my wisdom teeth came out mid December. Very soft foods and liquids. Wahoo! I'm pretty annoyed.
If it wasn't for the fact that my blog has become my journal, I wouldn't spend this much paper space on this annoying subject, but for posterity sake, you all get to endure my rants. :-) Apologies all around.

OH MY!!!! That's AWFUL! I can't believe this is still going on. With our past two months of medical fun...and previous experiences before that...my initial thought is get a second opinion. If there is another specialist in the area, even if you like this doctor, I would find out what someone else has to say. This is just crazy and has been awful for you. Ugh, so frustrating. I'm so sorry!
Oh that is just miserable to hear Tiff. I'm so sorry - you're completely allowed to rant all you want. I have a little something for you but I haven't been able to come over without the kiddos as of yet (they're sick currently). Hang in there and I'll be in touch.
Oh Tiff! Damn that graft!!! You should be allowed to be DONE with all this mess! I'm so sorry. Lets go to a chick flick soon. You deserve a night or day off!
Such a nightmare! I am so sorry!! I am cringing at the thought of it all! That dentist better do it right this time, AND you have to make him put you under general anesthesia at NO additional cost, seriously! I will be thinking about you tomorrow.
I am so sorry. I thought getting my wisdom teeth out was bad enough but that is horrible. If you like I will go to Outback and get the finest steak, put it in a blender and give you a straw... sorry that probably doesn't help but at least you could get the taste in your mouth. Do you need me to come over and help with the girls? I would be more than happy too.
