To the RESCUE!

Yesterday, Hailey got to go on a field trip with her preschool class to the Lindon Fire Station. She has been SO excited for this trip. She was also excited that Addy and I got to go along.

When we first got there, we noticed the firetruck was gone and nobody was there. Then, we saw it headed down State Street with it's sirens going. So, we took the kids to a nearby park to let them play in hopes the firemen would return soon.

They did.

We had so much fun listening to them talk to the kids about safety, then they let the kids climb all over the Engine and Ambulance. They got to pretend-drive and sit in the back of the ambulance next to the stretcher while they talked about rescuing people. Hailey was highly intrigued, while Addy was holding on to me for dear life since she doesn't like men. Especially men all dressed up in unrecognizable clothes.  It was the perfect day for a walk to the fire station and we were so grateful to the awesome firemen who took the time to hang out and play with all these kids.

The only picture I got of Addy.
The rest of the time, she was my constant leg attachment.

The firemen gave all the kids these cute tatoos.

The shirt Hailey got from her school.

It really was such a fun day and i'm so glad we got to join her.

This is adorable and the pictures are all so cute. I love that they got to do that and they look so happy (even if Addy was afraid most of the time). I especially love the picture of Addy, she looks SO grown up! I am also glad the weather looks like it totally cooperated.

Great pictures! Looks like a super fun field trip. The fireman wasn't too bad to look at either. ;) haha!
