Bear Lake Reunion Day 1

Day 1 was a little crazy, but oh so exciting. We woke up that morning, Friday, the 1st of July, packed up our truck and we were on our way. The drive took about 3 hours, not so bad. It was a really pretty drive, however, we were rounding this one bend when a giant semi decided to take the inside of the bend WAY too fast and almost creamed us. That was pretty scary. The drive through the mountains, Hailey and Addy kept talking about how they wanted to find a bear at bear lake. :-)

We arrived 2nd at the cabin, just after Jess and Justin. The cleaning crew was still there, but quickly finished and we were able to venture inside. It was BEAUTIFUL. Jess and I ran around putting names on the doors where everyone was previously assigned.

This was our room, shared with Jess and Justin

Once we got a little settled and had some dinner, which was a BBQ that first night, we took a little stroll down to the lake. It was a beautiful night.

On our little walk back up to the cabin, we saw this random deer just hanging out.

Scary. This picture was Nate's fault.

I could not get Addy off the swings the entire weekend. She wasn't too excited about the fact she had to share them with everyone else.

Jess cutting out more ties for our weekend games and teams.

Everyone getting settled for our 'acquaintance' game.

Rachelle was in charge of preparing this game and it was a blast. She had everyone pick some candy out of a huge bowl, but nobody could eat it yet.  then, after everyone had made their candy choices, she informs everyone that each type of candy means something you have to share with the group.

Jolly Ranchers:

Starburst:

It was such a great game and great way to have share some laughs, some tears and some good times with everyone.

This picture just makes me giggle. This is a plethora of people comparing lengths and shapes of toes.

After the kids were in bed and everyone was just hanging out, Nate and I decided to go check out the hot tub. This was such a cool place to stay.

More pictures to come in following posts!

Why is it that I ALWAYS look crazy in pictures with me and babies? haha. I love all the pics. I can't wait to see the rest.
