Disney: The Cruise Part 3

Day 3, we woke up to another beautiful sunrise and also the view of Grand Cayman. We were very excited to do some exploring.

After grabbing some breakfast, we headed to the designated areas where they would board us onto tender boats that would take us ashore.  The girls thought that was pretty cool.

The water at the Cayman Islands was absolutely beautiful. It was so incredibly clear. It was a VERY hot and humid day at Grand Cayman and we were eager to get to the beach.

We found a taxi driver, or I should say He found us.  We decided to go with him before we saw his vehicle. Once we got on, we couldn't do anything but be a little freaked out. I mean, REALLY? His van was completely falling apart and I was a little scared, i'm not gonna lie.

The taxi to the beach was ridiculous. It was $4 per person, even though the girls had to sit on our laps. LAME! Then, once we got to the beach, you had to pay to actually go to the beach. I believe it was $6 per adult and $4 per child. Seriously? We were not impressed at how expensive things were on the island. We went looking for T-Shirts and they wanted a minimum of $20 per t-shirt. Lame.

The beach, however was breathtaking.
First things first. Addy wanted her hair in braids.
It cost $30 to do the whole head.

While getting our stuff set up on the beach, I hear someone call out my name. I look up to see one of my best friends from highschool... Sarah Klotther (Sarah Martin, now) She was on a different cruise with her husband and we happened to taxi to the same beach. Crazy.

Island Princesses

Hailey never has a problem finding friends to play with. One of her many great qualities.

They litterally PACKED us in this taxi van like sardines. It was ridiculous. We were sweating like pigs while they worked on packing people in, then we had to wait while other cars got out of our way. Nate was pretty upset. AND they still charged us an arm and a leg to get back to our boat.

When we got back to our boat, we got cleaned up from all the sand in our.... crevices and got read for dinner.
This night, Wednesday, our dinner was at a restaurant called Tritons. It was more of a french style cuisine.

Can you say a little sunburnt??

After dinner we went to our third show: Toy Story: The Musical
You literally felt as though you were in Andy's room. It was absolutely amazing.

After a day in the sun and water, the girls were definitely ready for bed.
